UK-China Partnerships for Health visited cities throughout China in December 2016 as part of the UK Healthcare Trade Mission led by Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt MP. As part of the visit, the 4th dialogue of the China-UK High Level People-to-People Exchange Mechanism was hosted by the British Embassy in Shanghai and a number of MoUs were signed between members of the Trade Delegation and Chinese partners. The Trade Mission highlighted the “Golden-Era” of relations between the UK and China.
Paul Lawton, the Director of UKCPFH, presented the UKCPFH services to the Chinese market at Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Subsequently we received a good number of invitations of collaboration from attendees of meetings held in these four cities. Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt visited our exhibition stand at Shanghai, encouraging our participation and contribution to promoting the UK’s expertise in China and supporting the Chinese government and hospitals in its healthcare reforms.
